Foghorns & Alerts
Foghorns provide notifications of custom events in your application or infrastructure.
Alerts are defined by a customizable criteria setting and then tied to a single or multiple alert type(s) and channels.
Foghorns contain a conditional operator: string includes, string does not include, REGEX, message received, <=, >=, ==, ===, !==, !=, <, >, -< or ->. You will select one or multiple variables when you set up your foghorn.
Foghorn expressions are evaluated realtime and are on the same timespan/basis as the Beacon(s) sending messages and injecting data. Alerts will fire in real-time when exceptions occur to the conditions you have put into place.
Notifications are available via integrations with several different channels. Currently Hrbr natively supports Email, SMS, or Slack notifications.
Additional services such such PagerDuty, OpsGenies and Others can be easily added via the Email channel.
